In Kind Donations
Because we are a non-profit Center, we rely on donated items from the community to keep our agency running. Our largest need is items that the Crisis Respite Nursery uses like food, diapers, and cleaning supplies. We also are appreciative of office supplies and furniture. The following is a list of specific in-kind items the agency is in need of at this time; however, we welcome any donated items that help us in our cause.
Food Items: (Foods may not be expired nor home sealed, and must have original store seal)
- **Kids' snacks (crackers, pretzels, granola bars, fruit snacks, etc.)
- **Box dinners: Hamburger Helper, Pasta-Roni, Rice-a-Roni, etc.
- **Canned chicken/beef
- **Canned fruit
- **Candy (esp. fun-size) - we use it for school presentations
- **Cheese - sliced, shredded, or string cheese
- **Hot dogs
- Tortillas
- Frozen meat potatoes
- Frozen potatoes (tater tots, French fries, etc.)
- Butter/margarine
- Ready-to-eat nuts
- **Grocery gift cards (any $ amount!) - used for perishable groceries
Office supplies
- **White copy paper (8.5 x 11")
- **Pastel-colored copy paper (8.5 x 11")
- **Postage stamps, any amount
- **Post-It notes
- **Masking tape
- **Small binder clips
- **Small envelopes, esp. security lined
- **Highlighters, any color
- Perforated writing pads (lined, 8.5 x 11")
- Sharpies, black
- Bic white-out correction tape
- 3-tab manila folders
Cleaning Supplies:
- **Vacuum, in good working condition (new or gently used)
- **Disinfecting wipes or spray (e.g. Lysol)
- **Foil
- **Neosporin
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Hand soap (esp. large refills, but any kind is useful!)
- Hand sanitizer (esp. alcohol-free with moisturizer)
- Febreze spray
- Ziploc bags (gallon/quart/sandwich size)
- Trash bags (kitchen or outdoor)
Miscellaneous:
- **Sandbox toys, new or gently used (pails, shovels, etc.)
- **Queen-size bed sheets (new)
- **Kids' pants, size 3-4
- **Dollhouse furniture and dolls, new or gently used
- **Rakes (for raking leaves), new or gently used
- **Kids' chairs - preferably a set of 2-8
- **Garden hose (one 50 ft.; one 75-100 ft.)
- **Sprinkler (to attach to a hose, safe for kids to play in)
- **New toys (still in store package)
- **Night lights (new or gently used, any kind)
- **Children's potty training seat (to go over regular toilet)
- **Freezer, full-size, in good working condition
- **Kitchen chairs - adult size, set of 6
- Blankets (new, any size/style)
- Light bulbs (60-75 watt)
- Batteries (AA, AAA, 9V)
- School supplies (pencils, erasers, glue sticks, scissors, etc.)
- Kids craft kits/supplies
- Small individual toys/treats for prizes
- Hair bows/clips/ties
- Diapers, sizes 4-6
- Cookie sheets (baking pans), new or gently used
- **Department or toy store gift cards - we will use them to get therapy toys or other items we still need
