Volunteer

The Family Support & Treatment Center welcomes volunteers in many capacities:

We rely heavily on individual volunteers and small groups (up to 8 people) to spend time in the Crisis Respite Nursery, providing safe, stable, positive relationships with at-risk children. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Shifts depend on availability, but we often have day, evening, and Saturday times available. Individual volunteers are required to complete a Bureau of Criminal Identification background check. If a volunteer has lived outside of Utah within the past 5 years, a fee may be required for the background check.

We appreciate service projects done on our behalf by any age and size of group, including donation drives, cleaning and organization projects for the Center, financial support collections, blanket-making projects, and Eagle Scout projects. We also rely on volunteers to help run special events by taking tickets, selling food, running a booth, etc.

Those wishing to contribute on an executive level are welcome to join our board of directors, all of whom work hard to ensure the success of our agency.

To inquire about volunteering or service projects, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Eric Wilson, at 801-229-1181 or ewilson@utahvalleyfamilysupport.org.
