Volunteer

The Family Support & Treatment Center welcomes volunteers in many capacities. Those wishing to contribute on an executive level are welcome to join our board of directors, all of whom work hard to ensure the success of our agency. We also rely heavily on volunteers who spend time in the Crisis Respite Nursery, providing safe, stable, positive relationships with the children who, largely, haven't received that in their own home. Volunteers generally consist of academic, religious and youth groups, along with scouting programs and high school and bachelor-level interns. Each volunteer is required to complete a Bureau of Criminal Identification background check and sign a Code of Conduct form from the Department of Human Services Resource Manual.

We also appreciate the service projects done on our behalf, including food drives, cleaning and organization projects for the Center, financial support collections, blanket-making projects, and new toy drives for our Santa's Workshop, which we collect all year.

To sign-up to volunteer in the Nursery or to schedule service projects for our Center, please call our Nursery Coordinator, Jill Weiser, at (801) 229-1181, or email her at jweiser@utahvalleyfamilysupport.org.

A big thank you goes out to all those in our community who have helped in the Nursery or organized a service project on our behalf. We couldn't do what we do without you!
